Penalties:

February: 1% of base amount – Postmarked between February 1 – February 29

March: 2% of base amount plus $2.00 letter fee – Postmarked between March 1- March 31

This office goes by postmarks by the US Postal Service.

This office will be closed at the end of the business day on March 31; we will however credit payments that are received via mail AFTER that date with a postmark of March 31st.

After April 1st all unpaid taxes will be forwarded to the Commissioner of Finance of Orange County, residents can contact them for payment amounts and information after April 15th at 845-291-2480.
